Why earn your MS in Software Engineering at Walden?

Pamela Quinn headshot

"When I first started working in my field, I quickly realized that I was not equipped to perform as well as I could. Part of the reason was because my education did not prepare me well enough for the challenges I would face in the IT industry. Walden provides quality education that applies to the real world. I use the lessons I learned from my courses every day."

The MS in Software Engineering program is not currently eligible for federal financial aid. Walden University is seeking approval from the U.S. Department of Education to offer this program with federal financial aid, but at this time we cannot provide a general time frame on when any decision will be rendered.

Even though Walden University is seeking approval from the U.S. Department of Education, individuals can still fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) for the program. Walden will collect and hold all paperwork that is received until such time as we receive a decision from the U.S. Department of Education. Federal program approval is separate from individual federal financial aid eligibility. In order for a student to receive federal financial aid when a program is approved by the U.S. Department of Education, a student must meet all other federal financial aid eligibility requirements as defined in the Walden University Financial Aid Terms and Conditions and Walden University Student Handbook.
