Doctor of Business Administration Specializations

Build your entrepreneurial skills and knowledge with a learning experience that combines theory with practical strategies drawn from real-world situations, such as identifying market opportunities, managing risk and change, encouraging innovation, and raising capital.
Coursework for this specialization examines contemporary organizational issues, such as succession planning for the organization’s long-term success, creating and managing external strategic partnerships, and HR planning for the organization’s strategic business direction.

The Healthcare Management specialization focuses on laws and court decisions that apply to the management of healthcare organizations and investigates the regulatory and ethical dynamics that exist within the industry.

A doctoral research degree is a PhD or other doctoral degree that requires advanced work beyond the master’s level, including the preparation and defense of a dissertation based on original research or the planning and execution of an original project demonstrating substantial artistic or scholarly achievement.
